Hi, I'm Tammy Harrison — a Registered Nurse and former Registered Veterinary Technician with a genuine passion for feline health and well-being.

I founded Loving Paws Feline Care because I believed cats deserved something better than a generic pet sitting experience. Cats are sensitive, routine-driven, and deeply connected to their home environment. The care they receive while you're away should reflect that.

My background in both human healthcare and veterinary medicine gives me a clinical eye that most pet sitters simply don't have — especially when it comes to senior cats, diabetic cats, and those with complex medical needs.

Every visit is approached with the same attentiveness and detail-orientation I brought to patient care.

For independent, healthy adult cats who genuinely do well with a shorter, routine-focused visit. This option is discussed and approved during your Meet & Greet to ensure it's the right fit for your cat.

Best for: diabetic cats, seniors, special-needs cats, post-procedure recovery, and high-anxiety cats

Everything included in the 45-minute visit, plus:

Extended health observation and detailed documentation

Individualized attention for multi-cat homes with varying needs

Ideal for families who want the highest level of care and confidence while away.

Your cat is cared for by a licensed Registered Nurse and an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology—bringing both medical knowledge and hands-on feline care experience into every visit.

This visit provides true peace of mind, especially for cats who need a little extra attention, patience, and expertise.

Multi-Cat Households

Visit rates include care for up to three cats.

For households with four or more cats, an additional $2 per cat is added per visit. Depending on the number of cats and their individual care needs, a 45-minute visit may be recommended to ensure each cat receives proper attention — this will be assessed and discussed during your Meet & Greet.

Professional Litter Box Services

Available as a standalone service or add-on to any cat sitting visit. Litter and cleaning supplies are provided by the client. Feeding and medications are not included in standalone litter services. Perfect for busy households, seniors, or anyone who wants one less thing to worry about.

A consistently clean litter box is one of the most important indicators of your cat's health. Changes in litter box habits are often the first sign something is off — and having a trained eye checking regularly makes a real difference.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay — all processed securely through the Time To Pet client portal.

To reserve your dates, bookings are secured with payment at the time of scheduling.

48-hour cancellation notice is required. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are charged in full and held as a credit for 90 days.

Do you care for healthy cats, or only cats with medical needs?

Absolutely! Loving Paws Feline Care welcomes cats of all ages and health needs—from playful kittens and healthy adult cats to seniors and cats requiring additional support.

Every visit is personalized to your cat’s normal routine and may include feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, enrichment, companionship, and updates with photos. My Registered Nurse and former Registered Veterinary Technician background provides an added layer of attentive care, but your cat does not need to have a medical condition to benefit from professional, feline-only in-home cat sitting.

Whether your cat is outgoing, shy, playful, anxious, or happiest napping in a favorite spot, my goal is to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you are away.

Do you care for shy, anxious, or fearful cats?

Yes. Many cats are cautious around new people, and I never force interaction.

I allow shy or anxious cats to approach at their own pace while making sure their essential care needs are met. Visits are adjusted to the individual cat's comfort level, whether that means quiet companionship, gentle play, hiding-space checks, or simply maintaining a calm and predictable routine.

Your cat does not need to be outgoing or social to receive compassionate care.

Can you care for cats that require medications?

Yes. Loving Paws Feline Care provides medication support based on your cat’s individual needs, prescribed treatment plan, and comfort level.

Medication services may include:

Crushable pills or liquid medication mixed with food
Oral medications, depending on the medication and your cat’s willingness to accept them
Injectable medications, including insulin for diabetic cats

As a Registered Nurse and former Registered Veterinary Technician, I have experience caring for cats who require medically attentive visits, including senior and diabetic cats.

All medication instructions, dosing schedules, supplies, and your cat’s usual response to treatment must be discussed during the required Meet & Greet. This allows me to determine whether I can safely and reliably meet your cat’s needs. Injectable medications are subject to an additional fee.

Can you care for a diabetic cat that needs insulin?

Yes. Loving Paws Feline Care can provide insulin injections for appropriate cats with an established diabetes diagnosis and a consistent veterinarian-directed treatment plan.

Because timing, feeding, insulin administration, and careful observation are especially important for diabetic cats, Loving Paws requires two visits per day for cats receiving insulin while their family is away.

Before accepting a diabetic cat for care, we'll discuss your cat's individual needs during the Meet & Greet, including:

Current insulin type, dose, and administration schedule
Normal feeding routine and appetite
Your cat's usual behavior and daily habits
Recent veterinary care and diabetes management
Signs or symptoms that would require contacting you or your veterinarian
Emergency veterinary information and authorization

Every diabetic cat is different, so care is accepted on an individual basis after reviewing your cat's current needs, routine, and medical stability.

What happens if my cat becomes sick or has a medical emergency while I'm away?

Your cat's safety is always a priority. If I notice a concerning change in your cat's health or behavior, I will contact you or your designated emergency contact as appropriate.

If veterinary care is needed, Loving Paws Feline Care can transport your cat to the veterinarian or emergency veterinary hospital listed in your client profile, according to your Emergency Veterinary Authorization.

Emergency instructions, veterinary information, and authorization are reviewed before services begin.

How often should my cat receive visits while I'm away?

Loving Paws Feline Care requires at least one visit every day while you are away. Some cats may benefit from twice-daily visits depending on their age, health, feeding routine, medications, personality, or other care needs.

Diabetic cats receiving insulin require two visits per day.

During our consultation and Meet & Greet, we'll discuss the visit frequency that best supports your cat's individual needs.

How many cats are included in a visit?

Standard visit pricing includes care for up to three cats in the household. Homes with four or more cats are welcome, with a small additional charge per cat.

The appropriate visit length may also depend on the number of cats and the amount of care needed.

Cat sitting visits are available 7 days a week between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

How far in advance should I book a cat sitter?

I recommend contacting Loving Paws Feline Care as early as possible, especially for holidays, summer travel, school breaks, and cats with medication or special-care needs.

New clients also need time to complete a brief consultation, set up their Time To Pet account, complete required cat care and household information, and schedule the required Meet & Greet before their first reservation.

For cats requiring insulin or other specialized care, please contact me well in advance so there is adequate time to review your cat’s current routine, medical needs, and determine whether Loving Paws is the appropriate fit.

Availability is not guaranteed until the onboarding process is complete and your reservation has been confirmed.

How do I become a client of Loving Paws Feline Care?

Getting started is easy. Begin by completing the online Request Your Meet & Greet form or contacting Loving Paws Feline Care.

We'll first have a brief phone conversation to discuss your dates, location, number of cats, and any special care or medication needs.

If Loving Paws appears to be a good fit, you'll create your Time To Pet account, complete your cat and household information, and schedule the required Meet & Greet before your first reservation.

Reservations are confirmed after the onboarding process is complete and payment has been received.

Is a Meet & Greet required before services begin?

Yes. A Meet & Greet is required for all new clients before the first cat sitting reservation.

During the Meet & Greet, we'll review your cat's normal routine, feeding, litter box care, medications if applicable, home access, veterinary information, emergency plans, and any special instructions.

It also gives both you and Loving Paws Feline Care the opportunity to determine whether the care arrangement is a good fit before services are confirmed.

How will Loving Paws Feline Care access my home for cat sitting visits?

For safety and convenience, Loving Paws Feline Care recommends using a secure lockbox for home access during scheduled visits.

If a physical key must be retained by Loving Paws Feline Care, a $15 key pickup fee and $15 key return fee will apply.

Will I receive an update after each cat sitting visit?

Yes. After each completed visit, you'll receive a detailed visit report through the Time To Pet app.

Updates typically include a personalized note about how your cat is doing along with photos from the visit. I may also note observations about appetite, behavior, litter box habits, medications, or anything else that may be important while you're away.

When is payment due for cat sitting services?

Payment in full is required before the first scheduled service begins and is necessary to confirm your reservation.

Payments are securely processed through Time To Pet. Accepted payment methods may include major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that emergencies happen. To reserve dedicated time for each client, cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice are retained as a service credit valid for 90 days.
